NewsArrowhead Conveyor Expands Product Testing Facility August 12, 2005
Oshkosh, WI August 12, 2005 – As part of their commitment to providing a full range of services to the industries they serve Arrowhead Conveyor Corporation has completed an expansion of their product testing facility. This expansion allows Arrowhead Conveyor to conduct handling tests for customers who are trying to find the best methods for conveying their products smoothly, reliably, and efficiently
With the expanded testing center the Arrowhead Conveyor facility now includes test loops for all Arrowhead conveyor types – ArrowAdvance™ tabletop and mattop conveyor, ArrowElite™ rollerless case conveyor, and ArrowFlo™ neck guided air conveyor.
The ArrowAdvance™ testing loop includes tabletop and mattop conveyor with a variety of transfer and handling devices. It features a pressureless single filer as well as a product deceleration area. Product handling can be tested on traditional flex turns as well as dynamic transfers.
For case handling applications the ArrowElite™ test loop demonstrates how packages will handle on inclines, declines, as well as through divert sections and merges. The test loop also includes areas to evaluate the impact of different types of product accumulation and product transfers from one conveyor to the next.
For applications requiring high speed transport of PET bottles Arrowhead has also created a test loop utilizing their ArrowFlo™ neck guided air conveyor. The air conveyor test loop allows customers to see how their packages will perform while traveling up inclines or down declines as well as how they interact with certain specialty devices.
The expansion of the Arrowhead testing facility allows Arrowhead Conveyor to provide proof of concept to customers considering Arrowhead’s conveyor solutions.
